About Dr Schuyler

Dr. Schuyler Tang comes from Eustis, Florida and grew up in and around Orlando. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, he decided on a career in dentistry. He finished his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2018 at the University of the Pacific in downtown San Francisco, California. Upon returning home to Florida, he began a one-year internship with the University of Florida Department of Orthodontics. There, curiosity turned to passion as he learned more about orthodontic theory and clinical techniques, and not long after that, he continued to care for patients at UF for another three years as an orthodontic resident until graduating in May, 2022. He can’t wait to bring his clinical skills back to Orlando.

Outside of his academic pursuits, Dr. Tang enjoys archery, sailing, playing the cello, and scouting out bubble tea shops with his girlfriend, Kim Vy Vo, whom he met while in California. Together, they have two rowdy dogs: Benny, a Chihuahua with almost no teeth; and Momo, a Yorkie with an underbite who has so far rejected orthodontic treatment. Kim Vy has achieved her goal of becoming a software engineer. Dr. Tang finally asked Kim Vy to be his wife in October 2022. They are enjoying being engaged and are both looking forward to their special day and the planning process!
